November - Even less activity this month as the temperatures continue to drop and the days grow shorter. The cold weather will send them into a cluster for warmth and protection against the elements. As the chill of late autumn settles in, they may not yet go into a full winter cluster just yet; instead, they tend to break off from the cluster frequently on warm days. Adaptive as they are, they will seek the warmth of the sun, taking advantage of those rare sunny breaks. However, as evening approaches and the air cools, they will instinctively re-cluster for safety and warmth. But it is important to note that they will begin to cluster more consistently as the full force of winter sets in, preparing themselves for the months ahead and ensuring their survival through the colder season.
